To support the important work of all local police canine units, through the implementation of programs designed to maintain the health and well being of these highly trained officers. Providing financial assistance for medical procedures when there is limited money in the budget to pay for the treatment. Establishing a vaccination/heartworm prevention program that is low cost and supplying high quality diets with dog food companies at a discounted cost.
The Bobbie Project is also working to get a bill passed in our legislature that would require "ALL" police dogs in Massachusetts to have medical benefits.
